Solar panels are ideal in working alongside your main water heating system to produce hot water when there is sunshine. The improvements in technology mean that they are now very efficient, maximising even Britain’s cloudy skies.
The Energy Saving Trust states that for an average house savings of between £50 and £80 per year are expected when using solar.
There are two types of solar panels:
Evacuated Solar Tubes
The evacuated tube solar collector unit is made up of separate evacuated tubes all feeding into a collector at the top. The evacuated tubes are made up of a glass casing, which houses, in a vacuum, an absorber plate. There are several advantages: the suns energy is not wasted heating air in the tube enabling them to function at lower levels of sunlight and the collector is round allowing them to function all day long.

Flat Panel Solar Collector
Aestheticaly less intrusive these panel are recesed into the roof and aligned with the tiles. Durability has improved enormously and manufactured with weather resistant glass that self cleans, they have life expectancy of 25 years.
The solar panels can be configured in either portrait or landscape orentation and fit together allowing continous installation of a number of panels.
We run a one day training course held in Aylesbury for installation engineers.
The new heating systems use the waste from saw mills, which are compressed into a pellet to give an efficient and eco-friendly heating solution for your home or office.
Bio fuel can be manufactured from many types of plants but the most common sources are palm oil and oil seed rape oil.
