Even cold air down to temperatures of -15 degrees centigrade, contains sufficient heat to vaporise refrigerants. An EcoAir heat pump does not require a circuit connector to be buried in your garden. Instead heat is transferred by direct vaporisation when air passes through a heat exchanger.A heat pump works by utilising a low boiling point liquid (refrigerant) to absorb solar energy in the air at a low temperature and then releasing this energy when the resulting vapour is condensed at a higher temperature.
The EcoAir heat pump uses the surrounding air as its energy source. Installation is easy requiring no digging and can be combined with an existing heating system or pellet boiler to provide additional power throughout the year, even with temperatures of -15 degrees centigrade.
This is not new technology and is widely used in Scandinavia. Nu-way have been building and supplying these for over 30 years. Efficiency and performance of the EcoAir is maximised when used alongside a an EcoLogic control panel and with an EcoEl thermal store.
It is easy to install in an outside location, runs silently, is the size of a small rabbit hutch and has a user friendly control panel. On top of that it has a power production ratio of between 3.5 to 4
kilowatt produced for every 1-kilowatt used. The EcoAir is ideal for heating domestic hot water,
under floor heating or a swimming pool.
Sizes available:
5, 8.5, 9.5 and 10.5 Kw in single phase
5, 6.5, 8.5, 9.5 and 10.5 Kw in 3 phase
Combined with a Nu-way EcoEl electronically controlled thermal store, the EcoAir becomes a fully integrated domestic hot water and heating system.
We run a one day training course held in Aylesbury for installation engineers.
The new heating systems use the waste from saw mills, which are compressed into a pellet to give an efficient and eco-friendly heating solution for your home or office.
Bio fuel can be manufactured from many types of plants but the most common sources are palm oil and oil seed rape oil.
