I would like to reduce my reliance on fossil fuels but do not want to do away with my existing boiler?

Heat pumps, either air or ground source generate hot water up to 55 degrees centigrade. When connected to an EcoIntegrator thermal store it is possible to connect heat pumps directly to an existing ‘wet’ heating system, as well as being able to deliver 100% of a typical 3-4 bedroom house’s hot water requirements.

Can I buy the system from SprintBio and have my own plumber install it?

SprintBio supplies boilers, burners, air and ground source heat pumps and solar panels (as part of a package). We can recommend installers, who have the appropriate training and experience or help your usual installer obtain the necessary training.

Is it necessary for my installer to be registered with any accredited body?

It is not necessary to have an accredited installer unless you are intending to seek a grant. SprintBio have accredited installers but recommend that the grant process is discussed prior to making any commitments.

The organisations involved in accreditation and grants are constantly altering and changing their rules. Currently, the organisation dispensing grants is the Low Carbon Building Programme (that replaced Clear Skies).

To be eligible for grants, the renewable product must be registered with the LCBP by the manufacturer.

My plumber is registered but has never installed one of your systems. Can you guide him about specific details?

We can provide your installer with installation details and provide him with the telephone number of a help line and an email address to raise questions.

I am a plumber and a customer wishes to install an Eco product for heating. Will you supply to the “Trade”?

SprintBio Limited supplies to both the “trade” and the public.

Can I call on SprintBio for advice or assistance if my system breaks down?

We would always suggest that in the case of breakdown the installer is the first point of contact. We are of course available to assist if still necessary.

I am a registered installer who will install the systems as per the manufacturers instructions and all current Building Regulations. Will SprintBio assist in commissioning the system?

SprintBio will assist in commissioning the system using fully trained agents. However it is important to note that we will inspect the system and insist that, if required, any changes needed must be made to ensure the safe and efficient operating of the system before issuing a commissioning certificate.

Please note that to be eligible for grants typically the product must be supplied and installed by the same accredited installer.
